Strategy Planning Target Process Business Concept
Home / PNM 2022 / Strategic Planning 2022

Since 2013, The POGIL Project has made intentional use of strategic plans to guide its work.  The plans have focused the community’s time and energy and financial resources to serve The Project’s mission.  The current strategic plan (SP2) is The Project's second effort and was implemented in 2018.  It is now time to begin planning for the next iteration (SP3). At this year’s PNM, we will both be investing time in working groups supporting the current plan (SP2) AND spending time together as a community to consider our future and to generate ideas for SP3.  This does not mean that we are abandoning the current plan or the excellent work that is moving it forward.  This is an opportunity to step back, reflect, and take a strategic look at what needs to be modified as the Project moves into the future. The POGIL Steering Committee has invited a small team of community members to lead this work.

Before you Arrive in St. Louis

The Strategic Planning Team is requesting that all PNM participants do a bit of background work before we convene in St. Louis.

  • If you have been involved in a strategic plan working group, please identify up to three areas that have been particularly successful in your group's work as it relates to the strategic plan.  Also, please identify up to three areas of challenges.  The goal is to reflect on this before we get to PNM.
  • If you are new to a working group or PNM, please review the current strategic plan so that you are familiar with the goals that have been guiding The Project for the past four years.
