NCAPP 2021

Transforming Education & Educators

Welcome to NCAPP 2021: Transforming Education & Educators

While we all wish we could meet in person, The POGIL Project is confident that this years' virtual NCAPP will be exciting, rewarding, and fun!  Below are a list of helpful links to assist you in navigating the conference.

NCAPP Virtual Platform

This year, we will be making use of an app called Meet App to help you navigate your way around the conference. Please CLICK HERE to learn how to download the app to both your desktop computer as well as your mobile device. We have video tutorials for those of you who need more help. Please download this app at least one week prior to NCAPP so that we may assist you if you have any technical issues!

All of the session information (descriptions, speaker information, participant list) will be located on Meet App.  However, if you are having trouble using this interface, we have also created a basic navigation file with session names, times and links. Feel free to use this as a backup. We have also created a GRID AGENDA for you to get a visual view of our schedule.

Download Zoom

CLICK HERE to learn how to download the latest version of Zoom or if you already have Zoom, but need the latest update. Make sure to test your Zoom access prior to the conference.  Also, to help you navigate Zoom, our own Lydia Kitts has put together a wonderful video.

Joining Meetings

Before meeting / Entering a meeting
• Join meeting at least five minutes early.
• Plug in laptops to keep battery charged.
• Close any unneeded programs or windows.
• Mute upon entry to avoid background noise.
• Mute button is on the bottom left of the screen.
• Test computer audio and video with Zoom tools.
