Gallery Walk Instructions

Preparation

During strategic team times, each strategic team will create the following to update others on their strategic team's charge, progress to date, and plans for the upcoming year:

• 2 slides in their GOOGLE SLIDE DECKS – links to other documents or deliverables can be included here, as can additional details that don’t fit on your poster

• Gallery walk poster on giant Post-its – this should hit the highlights from each strategic team's Google slides

• Each group will select a representative for their presentation on Tuesday, June 25

• Strategic team posters must be on the wall in DUC 276 by 9:45 AM on Tuesday June 25.

Tuesday, June 25, 9:45 AM-11:30 AM

• In DUC 276, each team’s presenter will stand next to their poster and will have 90 seconds to summarize their work at PNM and their proposed actions for the coming year.  Facilitators will manage the timing.  No questions during this time, but participants are welcome to start making comments on the shared docs.

• Everyone will stay in DUC 276.  Snacks will be set up in the alcove outside DUC 276. Feedback to teams can be provided in one of two ways:

  • Each strategic team's poster will have a QR code and Bitly link next to it linking to the gallery walk SLIDES and a SHARED FEEDBACK DOCUMENT where comments and questions can be submitted digitally.

  • Comments can also be written on Post-it notes that can be stuck on the poster.

• Participants can move from poster to poster while they snack, ask questions, and give feedback.  Each team will have a representative at their poster, but team members should take turns at their poster during the gallery walk time so that everyone gets a chance to talk with the other teams. 

• DUC 240 will be available as a quiet space.

• Everyone will have access to the slide deck and the parking lot feeback forms through the website as well.

Gallery Walk Debrief (30 Minutes)

• Strategic teams will meet to review their feedback, make changes, and amend their plans.  Teams will also transcribe sticky note feedback into their feedback Google docs. 

Wrap Up

• In DUC 276, every strategic team will make a report after lunch (up to 60 sec).  This could just be thanks for the great feedback, or it could include reflections or changes based on the feedback.
