Jennifer Larson is an Associate Professor at Capital University where she teaches biology. Her research background is in fungal genetics but she also engages undergraduate students in research related to antibiotic-resistant organisms in the environment. Her first teaching position required her to utilize evidence-based teaching practices in her courses. Since witnessing the power of this form of education first-hand she has only taught using these methods. Her current teaching focus is on developing meaningful learning experiences within online settings.
