Dr. Charity Flener Lovitt is an Associate Teaching Professor in Physical Sciences at the University of Washington Bothell. She was introduced to POGIL in 2011 and has used it to help students become active participants in the learning process. Charity completed facilitator training in 2015 and has facilitated POGIL workshops in the Pacific Northwest, United States, and Qatar. She has been known to use POGIL techniques to facilitate faculty meetings.  When not POGILing, she can be found running, cycling, or traveling.
