Andrew is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Berry College where he has taught chemistry for 14 years. He also serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management, and was previously Associate Provost & Dean of Academic Services. Andrew has been teaching with POGIL pedagogies for almost a decade and has coordinated a group of faculty from multiple disciples at Berry College who all espouse and utilize active learning pedagogies in their classrooms. Additionally, he has facilitated numerous POGIL workshops across the country and served as a consultant to individuals seeking to implement active learning pedagogies. He has served as a member of the Steering Committee of The POGIL Project and is currently on The POGIL Project Board of Directors. He earned his B.A. from Assumption College and his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
