Mary Sakellaris joins The POGIL Project as the Administrative Assistant, organizing materials and shipping for workshops across the nation and working as part of the national office team on all Project initiatives. She received her B.S. in Business Administration Cum Laude from Elizabethtown College. Her previous work experience includes more than 26 years at Franklin & Marshall College in Human Resources, and the Offices of the Provost and Finance. Additionally, she and her husband were proprietors for 19 years of Famous Pizza, performing the daily operations and administration of a small thriving business. Currently she also works in her church office, teaching Sunday School and helping to administer the Greek School program.
Mary calls Lancaster, PA, her home, where, along with her husband, she raised two sons, now married, and is a γιαγιά, (grandmother), to three grandchildren. Her favorite interests in life are gatherings with family and friends, being active in her church functions, cooking, especially Greek cuisine, along with Greek music and dance. Opa!
