Charge: This group’s ongoing charge is overseeing a Learning Communities program that encourages new practitioners to continue to engage with the POGIL Project as they develop their POGIL practice. The group has developed training and assessment, and has implemented several Learning Communities for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years. It will launch a third and final cohort of Learning Communities in the Fall of 2023 under the existing funding model (Project funded). This group will collect and compile information to provide support for external grant proposals to be made in the coming academic year with the goal of sustaining the Learning Communities program.
