Kristi Deaver teaches chemistry and physics at Ankeny Centennial High School in Ankeny, Iowa. She earned a a B.A. in Chemistry from Iowa State University and an M.S.Ed. in Teaching and Learning from Drake University. Kristi has been teaching high school since 1995 and using POGIL activities since 2012. She has been an active member of The POGIL community since 2013. During the course of her work with The Project, she has led several summer workshops, including the intensive Writers Retreat, participated on the planning committee for NCAPP, and aided in the revision of the high school chemistry activities.
