Patricia Cook serves as the Controller of The POGIL Project. She is The Project's chief accounting officer and heads the finance department. Cook is responsible for The Project's financial statements, general ledger, budgeting, tax compliance, and various special analyses.

Cook graduated from St. John's University with a B.S. in accounting. Her career in public accounting focused on auditing non-profits, for-profit companies and retirement plans. She transitioned from auditing into tax, and became a tax specialist focusing on research and review of non-profit and corporate tax returns. Cook is a Certified Public Accountant and has served as controller for the past 12 years for various organizations.

She is married to Paul, and together, they have three sons. She has lived in Lancaster County for 22 years. Patricia enjoys spending time with her family and in her spare time refurnishes and repurposes antiques.
