Last Day! You still have time to pledge…

Today is the final day of POGIL Pledge Week!

First, a comment from a real student in a POGIL class:

I have noticed this week that teamwork and communication goes can go beyond just the group that I have in class. I have gotten to know other people that are in the class and we have also got together to review and go over notes, which is really awesome. It is nice being able to build on these different skills such as communicating and being able to interact with other people. I am starting to learn how helpful it is and how I am honestly learning a lot from it. I am even starting to fully complete the activities that we do in class and it’s such a great feeling

And here is a message from Rick Moog, the director of the POGIL project:

Dear Friends,

Today is the final day of POGIL Pledge Week!

Thank you to everyone who has made a gift so far. If you haven’t had a chance to donate, we hope that you will make a gift to The POGIL Project to help sustain this important work.

When my colleagues and I first began the POGIL Project, we wanted to explore ways to engage students in their learning and create lasting understanding. What we didn’t expect was that it would soon transform into an award-winning, internationally implemented pedagogy impacting thousands of students every year.

But it wasn’t because of us that POGIL has helped so many teachers and students; it’s because of you. Thanks to your support, in only a few short years, the POGIL project has released numerous collections of classroom activities, held hundreds of workshops across the country and the world, and given thousands of teachers the tools they need to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Please take a moment to hear why teachers in our POGIL Community support the work of The POGIL Project, and make your gift today!

We couldn’t do it without you!

Thanks,

Rick
