Ellen has worked for The POGIL Project since 2005.  In her current role as Event Coordinator, she is responsible for planning and coordinating workshop events across the country including the Facilitator Training workshop, the Summer 3-day workshops and the Writers’ Retreat. 

Prior to joining The POGIL Project, Ellen worked in the Insurance industry as a Bond Underwriter/Account Manager.  She was responsible for marketing and underwriting insurance and surety bonds to brokers, agents and clients.  In addition to her experience in the Bond industry, she also worked as a Space Planner, where she planned, designed, coordinated and implemented space planning activities for business and property management clients.

She received her B.A. in English from Clark University in Worcester, MA and her A.S. in Interior Design from Post University in Waterbury, CT.

Ellen has lived in Lancaster County with her husband for 20 years, and together, they have two grown sons.  In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, go to the beach and spend time with her family and friends.
